Abcd drops the music video for their remastered song “MWA” on February 17, 2023.
MWA is a pop-rock love song that was first heard as part of Struggle City’s Bittersweet compilation album.
Now, MWA is remastered just right in time for the love month.
As the band just released the music video, fans are surely in for a roller coaster ride of emotions. With its pop-rock track, fans will be torn between banging their heads or clutching their hearts.
Directed by Krisanto, and with their very own Kurt as the male lead character in the video, MWA opens with a sweet sight of lovers that leaves you thinking of a typical love story. Only that it’s not.
MWA tells a love story inspired by stories of people during the time of the pandemic.
Darwin, the band’s vocalist and the one who wrote the lyrics, said that during that time [pandemic], he observed that many relationships, either romantic or platonic, failed due to mental health issues.
Overall, the message that he wanted to share when he wrote MWA is: “No matter who you are, what you are, you’re still worth it and deserve to be loved.”
